Flower Energy in Florida: A Heartfelt Weekend with Tampa’s JCC Community
Written by Magical Blooms
I traveled to Tampa this past weekend with a suitcase, a heart full of gratitude, and a book that continues to open doors to the most wonderful connections.
During my visit to the JCC, I had the joy of meeting more than 60 wonderful women and men who came together to support the signing of Flower Energy: Channeling the Healing Power of Blooms. Meeting so many flower enthusiasts and new readers in Florida was such a beautiful reminder of why I wanted to write this book in the first place.
Flowers bring people together. This weekend, I got to experience that in a whole new community.
A Community That Welcomes You with Open Arms
There is something so special about the JCC community. The warmth, curiosity, and sense of belonging made this visit feel personal from the moment I arrived.
As a Jewish woman, being welcomed into a community that celebrates books, conversation, creativity, and connection means so much to me. Every book I signed was an opportunity to meet someone new, share a moment, and send a little piece of Flower Energy home with them.
To everyone who came, purchased a book, shared their love of flowers, or simply took the time to say hello: thank you. Your support stays with me long after the signing is over.
Taking Flower Energy on the Road
I feel incredibly fortunate that Flower Energy was recently welcomed into the Jewish Book Council’s author programming. Being part of this literary community is an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce my work to readers around the country.
As my holiday-season book tour continues, I’m looking ahead to a journey spanning 13 states—bringing flowers, stories, and heartfelt conversations to new communities along the way.
For the young woman who started Magical Blooms at 19 with a dream and a love of flowers, moments like this are deeply meaningful. To now travel with a book that holds so much of my life’s work is something I do not take for granted.
Thank You, Tampa Florida; you filled my heart this weekend. I arrived excited to share my book and left grateful for the people I met and the kindness I received.
Thank you to the JCC team, the organizers, and every wonderful guest who helped make this gathering possible. To my newest Flower Energy readers: I hope these pages inspire you to bring more flowers, intention, and everyday beauty into your lives.
This holiday season, consider sharing Flower Energy with someone who loves flowers—or someone who could use a little more beauty in their day.
With love and gratitude,
